We're learning Together

My Teaching Philosophy
The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. —William Arthur Ward
My motivation for learning was used to being to get praise from teachers or parents. Encouraging words made me push myself more and also gave me the energy to achieve the goal. Thus, I believe that teachers have a huge impact on students because just one word from teachers could even change students' identities towards learning better or worse. Since I am wondering how I can teach students effectively using methods that I have learned in SLS courses, there is a philosophy statement here.

Project that I Worked
I researched how study abroad affects L2 motivation. The participants were Japanese English learners and some of them have experience of studying abroad, and some of them do not have. I compared these two different groups, and the result such as their self-esteem, confidence, attitude towards learning English showed up based on the questionnaire.
